Here at The Croft Hotel, we believe in starting the day well, and what better way than with a full, wholesome breakfast.

Starters

A selection of fruit juices and over eight cereals are always available, along with refreshing ice cold milk, or if you prefer, soya milk is always available.

We believe that our own hand turned muesli is the best that you will find, packed with a varied selection of dried fruit and nuts – simply delicious!

Succulent, juicy apricots, prepared on the premises; delicious prunes cooked and left to soak in their own juices; superb quality grapefruit, with that bittersweet taste…what a way to tempt your taste buds!

Our fresh fruit salad is prepared daily in our Kitchen, and contains around ten different types of fruit, including three kinds of melon, kiwi, naval oranges, pineapple, strawberries and grapes, all purchased locally for freshness and quality.

And what about some Greek Style Yogurt? Thick and creamy, it makes a fantastic addition to cereal or fruit!

Cooked Breakfasts

Eggs
Our locally produced free range eggs are always cooked to order, and to your individual preference.

Bacon, Sausage and Black Pudding
All of these products are of the finest quality, and are truly delicious. The Croft is proud to say that we do not buy from markets or wholesalers, but from a renowned local butcher Keith Alderson, who has spent years sourcing only the very best meats, both from their own farm and from other local producers.

We would only ever use quality substitutes if there was a supply issue.

Kippers and Smoked Haddock
It would be easy to buy fish from local sources, but we don’t, and the reason is that we only want to give you the highest quality product. That’s why, for example, we buy our kippers direct from our supplier on the East Coast.

If you want kippers or smoked haddock how they used to be - the colour, the texture and the fabulous taste - well, look no further than The Croft Hotel!

Bread
Both white and wholegrain are available, locally baked to ensure the quality that you deserve.

Teas and Coffees

Coffee
We think our fresh Coffee is simply the best. A blend of high quality 100% Arabica coffee beans, which are specially selected and roasted to give a distinctively smooth, rounded coffee.

Teas
Whether it’s traditional, Lapsang Souchong or Earl Grey, The Croft always uses quality branded teas to ensure that you get that legendary ‘British Cuppa’ just how you would like it.

We also have a large selection of fruit teas, including refreshing Lemon, the more exotic Peach and Passionfruit, and how about trying the relaxing Camomile & Limeflower?
